Camp Street Brewing Company - Queenstown
All main meals are half price every day between 12.00pm and 3.00pm.
This concept bar is all about craft beers. Eighteen tap beers and ciders to be precise. Luckily, for those who want to try them all but aren't sure their liver could handle it, there is the option of tasting trays so you can sample the varying sumptuous flavours that CBC has to offer.
Choose from apple or berry cider, pale ales, wheat beers and pilseners. Also among the range of beers and ciders are a select few international brands such Carlsberg, Asahi and Kingfisher.
Camp Street Brewery has a happy hour with a difference: The Exchange. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night the prices of beers fall and rise depending on what is being sold the most of at the time. Expect the atmosphere of a stock market going crazy, only with beer instead of shares and hopefully no recession at the end of it!
This craft bar takes its beers seriously with in-depth tasting notes available on the menu so connoisseurs can make an informed choice. Similar thought and care has gone into the wine menu too, so those averse to the frothy stuff are also catered for.
The food menu features tasty mains such as ribeye steak, various pasta and salad dishes and the iconic Kiwi meal of blue cod and chips. Most of the mains are very reasonably priced at under $20 with exceptional value half-price meals at lunch times.
