Go Orange Kayaks - Queenstown

Kayak Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, or both!

Overview

Explore the fiord from water level with these awesome kayak adventures.

With heaps of products to choose from and a maximum group size of 8 plus a guide, all kayak adventures are super personal. This gives you plenty of time to get as much information as you want out of the guides!

Kayak Milford:

The 'Milford Must-Do' is around 4 hours of paddling out towards iconic Mitre Peak, via Bowen Falls. With plenty of photo opportunities and lunch on a secluded beach this is a pretty amazing way to see Milford.

The 'Milford Magic' combines paddling with power! You'll be on the water for 2 - 2.5 hours paddling and then an afternoon cruise to relax on afterward. This involves a portion of fish & chips on board the cruise (Oct-Mar) and a free picnic lunch!

A final way to see Milford from a bit of a different perspective is the 'Track Taster'. You have a leisurely paddle out to 'Sandfly Point', the end of the Famous Milford Sound Track. Here, you can experience a 2 hour walk on one of the most well-known walks in New Zealand.

Kayak Doubful:

Go Orange also offers their Doubtful Sound day or multi-day kayak experiences.

For just a small taste of this remote, unique place, try the 'Doubtful Taster'. This involves a ferry across Lake Manapouri, a coach ride over the Wilmot Pass and then a 3 hour paddle in Doubtful Sound.

If you're feeling a little more adventurous, come try the 'Doubtful Sound Overnighter' to really experience this isolated wilderness. Each day has up to 5 hours paddling and in the evening it's time to chill out at theirr base camp nestled in Hall Arm.

Go Orange also runs 3 and 5 Day excursions out into Doubtful Sound.

For more information on these products give them a call at their Kayak Base.
